Work Force runs in partnership with Bethlehem Aboriginal Fellowship that is located in the heart of the community. All programs run out of this building at 467 Manitoba Ave.
There are a number of different components to Work Force, with different staffing and volunteer opportunities in each of them:
The Job studio is a place for our older youth - 16 to 20 year olds - to gain interactive training in employment skills. We help these young people learn how to find a job of their own, and develop the skills needed to keep that job.

SUMMER WORK FORCE
Summer Work Force provides the opportunity 12 to 16 year olds to gain work experience in their community. Three times a week, youth go to various local establishments to offer their services. The youth gain experience, build employment skills, and receive a pay check from YFC, while the local establishments gain an extra hand!
INFINITY YOUTH CHURCH
Youth church’s aim is to show God to the youth in creative and interactive ways. Meeting once a week, there is time for worship, teaching, small groups, and service activities.
During the school year, youth group meets once a week to stay connected with our summer work force youth and their friends. Activities are offered as a chance to grow in relationship and an alternative to less positive activities the youth could be engaging in.
Looking for volunteers! Please contact Beth Wilton @ firstname.lastname@example.org
At Work Force we believe our youth have talents and abilities that can lead to meaningful lives. We teach, challenge and dare them to dream. We also teach, challenge and dare them to dream what life would be like with the living God in their lives. We do this through one-on-one relationships, God talks, discipleship and youth church.

At Work Force we believe our youth have talents and abilities that can lead to meaningful live
Work Force is a program of YFC Winnipeg.
For over 60 years, YFC has been a leader of innovation and excellence in positive youth development. As a Christian non-profit charity, YFC exists to help young people attain their full life potential. YFC is not a church, but we do work with churches, government, schools and other youth serving agencies to meet the needs of teenagers.
Our passion is to combine healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices and establish a solid foundation for life.
We value prayer as the foundation for ministry success
Therefore, we promote individual and corporate prayer and seek to develop prayer partners for all the staff and ministries of YFC.
We value effective, culturally relevant youth outreach
Therefore, we encourage creativity in our programming and strategies.
We value spiritual formation
Therefore, we seek to give new believers opportunities to experience the benefits of a supportive faith community.
We value multiplying our efforts through trained volunteer staff.
Therefore, we equip others, providing quality training, supervision and support.
We value responsible stewardship of people, time, and money.
Therefore, we seek to match people’s gifts, vision, and passion with their responsibilities. We hold staff accountable for stewardship of their time and resources. We practice living within our means, debt-free.
We value innovation and excellence.
Therefore, we seek to listen to spiritual promptings, discern their merit and promote innovation.
We strive for excellence.
We value partnering with churches and other youth serving agencies.
Therefore, we share our strengths and resources with others, endeavoring to work together in the common goal of positive youth development.
